Metropolis 125 Forest Fair Dr Cincinnati, OH 45240-1266 (513) 671-2881
club/bar
Located on the second level of a major mall, this trendy nightclub has separate rooms for top 20, R&B and hip-hop, country, and techno. The crowd swings towards hip 18- to 24-year-olds looking for hookups; the bait is sexy theme nights like Mr. Metropolis, Pajama Party, Best Butt and Wet T-shirt contests. While low hanging jeans and lacy tops are the norm, the official--and enforced-- dress code states no hats (except for western style), ripped or torn clothing, sleeveless shirts or tank tops, athletic apparel or jerseys with numbers. Service is great and bartenders make good blends, but, given the underage clients, they tend to serve mostly soda and O'Doul's. One exception is the country bar, which is filled with western-attired line-dancers of every age. |

Red Cheetah 1133 Sycamore Street Cincinatti, OH 45202 (513) 684-9500
club/bar
Red-painted walls, complete with a cat pattern, give this club a warm, comforting glow. The room is large and open, with a sunken dance floor full of patrons in revealing clothes. There are also three bars, which makes getting drinks easier. Prices are reasonable for this type of establishment: $5 cover charge, $3 beers. The young crowd makes this spot high-energy and popular |

Roxzz Niteclub 11911 Sheraton Ln Cincinnati, OH 45246 513-671-6600
bar/club
Mostly packed with the over-35 set, this party house (located inside a Best Western) is perfect for those who want to get their groove on to a '70s and '80s soundtrack. The DJs spin a mix of classic R&B, disco and some early hip-hop to keep the crowd jumping. During peak hours the small dance floor gets a bit too cozy and bar service can be slow. There are no speciality drinks, but the bartenders are skilled traditional mixers and can produce anything you desire |
